Every year, the 黑料社 community honors "the Man in the Red Bandanna," a hero who died saving the lives of others聽on September 11, 2001.
The Volunteer and Service Learning Center is the primary portal for all service activity offered at Boston College, with a strong commitment to the Greater Boston community.聽We support the education and formation of our students by promoting conscientious service in the context of Catholic social teaching and contemporary Jesuit education.

Students organize fundraiser for LA wildfire victims
The disastrous spate of January wildfires that leveled an estimated 18,000 metro Los Angeles-area homes and businesses鈥攄ramatically disrupting the lives of more than 200,000 residents and causing $250 billion in financial losses鈥攕imultaneously motivated two Boston College undergraduates, whose homes are 2,000 miles apart, to form an on-campus alliance to raise funds for the victims.
